The 16th of August 1819 saw an armed force attack a crowd of workers peacefully protesting in St. Peter’s Field in Manchester.

This beer is brewed to commemorate those workers, who simply wanted to live without poverty and hunger.

A rich, roasted porter, full of flavour on the nose and body leading to a long, dry, roasted finish.
